Anu & Byron

Planning a wedding during COVID was beyond difficult. My husband and I knew we wanted something special but also very intimate. And so we decided on a destination wedding. Given Cabo’s close proximity to Los Angeles as well as beautiful beaches and fun vibes, this was where we began our search. I had nearly a dozen phone interviews with various wedding planners at all the luxury resorts. Yazmin Castro was the reason we chose our resort. From the get go, she was genuinely interested in me and my vision. She was transparent with cost and expectations so that we knew what we could afford and expect on our big day. I spent months communicating with Yazmin about details. She always got back to me quickly and with solutions to any concerns I had. She was ever so patient with an extremely stressed out bride (no joke, I was texting her at 4am) and she made our wedding weekend so amazing wonderful. Yazmin never ceased to amaze. She set me up with the best vendors I could have possibly asked for. Our photographer/videographer took amazing photos and videos of our event. He even had a drone to catch special moments from above. Our DJ was able to incorporate both my Indian heritage and my husband’s Irish/Mexican heritage easily with great tunes to accommodate all. Our decor and design specialist had the freshest flowers, most beautiful linens and even a neon sign with our name on it for all of our guests to enjoy. Yazmin was even able to arrange for a henna artist to come onsite to the resort. If there was a slight hitch, Yazmin seemed to smooth it out with such ease. She had my dress steamed to perfection. She had my hair and makeup specialist take the best care of me. She made sure that we always had food in our room – fresh breakfast daily, food for the bridal/groom parties while we got ready and even a slice of our wedding cake the day after. Every day of our wedding experience, she took the time to meet me and my husband just to let us know she was there and that we were in good hands. By the end of the weekend, she had undoubtedly become family. A sister we could entrust with the most special day of our lives and I am forever grateful to her for that.
Thank you Yazmin. It truly was a fairytale wedding. All made possible by you.
